Interesting - sordid

Soundeffects were very good (despite that terrible song at the end) and there was good effort on the voices, but I think it woulda been better if you'd made up your own ones. Nevermind. Nice touch giving Luigi his waggling legs from SMB2 and having the horny old grampa kong. I gave points for interactivity because the preloader was very smart. You know, visual stimulisation. Nice one. Overall;

osborneanimation responds:

I have no idea what you mean by terrible songs. All those songs bleeding rule! I'm assuming you're refering to No More Mr. Nice Guy by Alice Cooper. Eh, I found it to set the mood well.

Dark - thoughts

Heeeey- pretty cool. It's like Tim Burton meets David Firth's "Scribbler". Then all of a sudden it meets a samurai slasher movie. Nice work dude- keep 'em comin', but longer, yeah! Overall;

Dragunfyre responds:

Dark things sometimes lurk beneath the surface of us all. And sometimes there is no recourse but to unleash the beast...

Next one will definitely have more of what you like. I will have to go look for "Scribbler" now. I've seen Salad Fingers, but not that one. Thanks for watching and for the feedback. :)

one stupid day at the stupid restaurant

This is dumb. I have nothing against people wanting to practice flash animation, or people who like to make abstract surreal work, but what I don't like is crap. I'm never usually this aggressive with reviews, but I reached that point in my life where I've realised how stupid clock movies are and when I see some anim that possesses no meritable qualities other than to show people what not to do, it makes me annoyed. Overall; This should not have been submitted.

RockClock responds:

WOW! I suprised you liked the movie so much!

Not another clock movie

This was a fair idea for a story, and the animator clearly has some skill, but I think it's wasted on these bloody clock crew movies. I'm sorry, some people may think they're cute and they're the new tamagotchi or furby, but I just think they suck. And what's with the stephen hawking voice over? record some sound bites! That's what makes the anims personal. Please go have a beer, jot down some original ideas and put your efforts into something worthy of newgrounds. If you think this is unfair, reply and I will read it. Overall;

Nice - work!

That was excellent- It's good to see number johnny five trying to kick some ass but having his head ripped off. Cool idea, great direction, interesting soundtrack. Overall;
Nice work!

LogFish responds:

Hehe thanks - well Johnny just looks like a little sissy doesn't he, and he was meant to be a military robot! He's like a stick! Deserves his head removed, as far as I'm concerned. heheh. Thanks for the review!

Fair - play.

I wasn't sure if I was angry with the guy in the support centre or the guy calling up. Only when reading authors comments (afterwards, I'm afraid) I realised that this is work inspired by having to work with bastard public (bastards!). Anyway, I thought it was very good. Unlike anything else I've seen on the site, but seeing as you didn't need to animate much it would have been nice to see the guy's face better drawn (no offence if that's your style of drawing, or htat you just can't draw). Over all;
Fair - play.

Side note- If that was based on a past experience, I think you should have told that guy to go and buy a pumpkin and shove it up his arse. Unless of course you're into that whole 'customer service' thing. Or indeed if you gave him your name. Always use someone elses name. Namely the managers. So if they call up and demand to speak to the manager, the manager will have to deal with someone saying that they're a god damned piece of (whatever you think). Good luck in future.

LiLFRE4K responds:

Yes, there is much room for improvement. I am not so good in drawing faces yet. So I reduced it to the basics and tried to let him look like a South Park character. Thank you for your nice review!

Sha - mone

I can't belive what some people have said about this. I thought it was great- The comedy was in the dialogue- not the animation, although the characters were bizzarely original. The sound levels were a little unstable at points, but I still turned up the volume. I would have liked to see some sort of conclusion though, like a bar fight or something. They're in a western bar! That guy had a gun! That could only spell humorous consequences. I voted FIVE because I like to see stuff on NG that hasn't been done to death, and can make me laugh. Overall;

Thanks.

Do - It - Justice

Pretty fair- the creator is obviously a fan of that great musical score (which I commend) but the beginning coulda been a little more subtle. The saucer that arrived shoulda been a little more threatening, I'm reckoning. The recreation of the typeface and legendary cover artwork was rendered very nicely in flash, but (and I know how difficult it is, but I have to say) the movements of the supposed camera were very unnatural. The artwork is great, but when taking on a great task like interpreting the War of the Worlds, direction and cinematography are essential. Please continue to animate and please do these works justice.
Do - It - Justice

Gerkinman responds:

i hope to do it justice, alot of the artwork in the film will be like that, with maybe one scene per episode taken from the old vinals.
